Welcome to my website!  I am an independent liberal Rabbi and I am honored that you are considering me as your officiant or co-officiant for your interfaith marriage! 

  

I was ordained by the Rabbinical Seminary International in New York city in 2008 and have been performing interfaith marriages since 2010. 

   

Did you know that the interfaith marriage rate among American Jews is currently 58%?  Prior to 1970, the interfaith marriage rate was about 17%.  By the end of 1974, the intermarriage rate more than doubled to 35% and by 1999, the intermarriage rate was more than 50%.     

   

You have decided to join your lives together.  In doing so, you maintain your sepearate identities while developing your identity as a couple.  Designing your wedding ceremony is another way in which you will  develop your unique identity.  Together we will design the wedding that brings together the elements of your religious heritages that you each hold dear and create a beautiful and meaningful ceremony that will reflect who you are as it becomes your religious identity as a couple. 

   

You have requested that your marriage take place in God's presence and I am pleased to honor your request.  It is the same God before whom you each stand, whether as a  Jew or a Christian.  For me, it is always,
